About
Lacey Lee is the owner of Mold Dog of Virginia, where she works alongside her unique business partner—her certified mold detection dog, Rudy. Using the extraordinary power of his nose, Rudy is trained to detect mold, both active and inactive, helping identify mold that is often hidden behind walls, in ceilings, under floors, and in places the human eye cannot see. Together, they inspect homes and businesses, providing a non-invasive way to locate mold and help property owners understand what may be affecting their indoor environment. Lacey’s work is deeply personal. Mold Dog of Virginia was born out of her own battle with toxic mold exposure and the difficult journey of finding answers and solutions. Having been in her clients’ shoes, Lacey brings both empathy and determination to every inspection, committed to helping others uncover the truth about mold in their homes and workplaces.
