About
I am a Building Biologist, Council-Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE), Florida-Licensed Mold Assessor, and Florida-Licensed Home Inspector with a background in residential renovation and remodeling. Years (20+) of hands-on construction experience taught me how homes are built, where hidden moisture problems develop, and why some buildings continue to experience mold and indoor air quality issues long after repairs have been completed. I believe Building Biology is a natural choice for anyone dealing with complex health concerns, including CIRS, because it looks at the entire indoor environment rather than focusing on a single issue. A healthy home is influenced by many factors, including mold, indoor air quality, ventilation, EMFs, lighting, water quality, and the materials used to build and furnish the home. Looking at these factors together provides a more complete picture and helps identify opportunities to create a healthier living environment. I specialize in helping families through comprehensive assessments of mold, indoor air quality, EMFs, ventilation, moisture, and other environmental factors that can affect a home's performance. Much of my work involves assisting medically sensitive individuals, including those dealing with mold-related illness, CIRS, allergies, asthma, autism, and chemical sensitivities. I regularly collaborate with functional medicine practitioners and remediation professionals to provide thorough, evidence-based assessments that help clients make informed decisions.
